Choosing to go on a one day cruise is a great way to inexpensively experience a cruise ship vacation. There’s no need to worry about taking time off from work and other responsibilities to enjoy a relaxed mini trip. The cruise departs early in the morning, way before the sun rises, and will return for the night.

Two meals are offered on the duration of your trip. During your one day cruise you will get to experience all the amenities the ship has to offer. Most cruise ships have swimming pools, hot tubs, youth facilities, an arcade, bars, lounges, multiple restaurants, and even casinos. You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy these activities in between ports. You can even take a nap in your stateroom before you get to your port of call.

The disadvantages of a one day cruise is the short length of time. If you decide to take a nap you don’t want to sleep too long or you might miss out on your chance to explore the new city you’ve reached. With the few hours the ship docks at the port of call you don’t get the chance to visit the local city and experience more than a few scheduled activities.

A one day cruise gives you the chance to experience the luxury of cruising without the hefty price tag and extended time off. You’ll get the opportunity to enjoy yourself and also get to explore new exotic locations.
